We have all the legal documents in place enabling us to seek credible investors and JV partners.
For the moment, here are some details about the granite mine we own.
- We believe the true value of the mine to be worth between $172 million USD and $334M
- We own 100% of the land, the mining company and the mining rights. The project is all set to start when we have capital to purchase equipment and labour.
- The granite quarry is located 2km outside of Acari, Rio Grande do Norte, South West of Natal.
- The land is just over 2 hectares (20,000 m2), this will be increased to approx 30 hectares or more when investor comes on board
- There are no site buildings currently.
- There is water and electricity on the land and we assume mobile internet is available (needs checking).
- The land has a geological study stating over 115,000 m3 of granite available (we believe there is much more, a new geological study is required). A very basic study was conducted in order to obtain the mining rights. It is effectively the lump of granite that can be seen protruding from the land.
- Mining rights allow for 1,000 m3 monthly extraction.
- 1,000 m3 equates to 36,000 m2 per month @2cm thick
- Our target selling price, based on increased density/strength is $80/100/m2
- This equates to up to $3.6 million gross profit per month (extraction costs shown to registered investors)
- Our granite is strong and versatile. When diamond wire cut, it appears polished and is not slippy when wet. (paving stones, pool surrounds)
- Red Granite is a very popular decoration and construction material, especially in Aisa. You can see from the images that without resign dye, the natural colour is more like SALMON, OR PINK
- The reserve of “granite” is currently valued at approximately $400 million US dollars. We believe there is probably more than $5 billion dollars.
- There is $1.2 million dollars worth of granite on the site in uncut blocks (350m3)
- The quarry has been inactive for over 10 years, hence there is no machinery on site for either extraction or cutting of blocks.
- We have have access to a temporary stone-cutting factory just 170km away. (On-site facility planned at later stage.
Proof of ownership and other legal or commercially confidential documents will be available to investors who register their interest and provide the necessary details, and prove they have the financial capacity to actually invest.
Let me also take the time to apologise in advance for the sometimes poor quality of images/photographs. The person we have on the ground in Brazil is an entrepreneur and not a photographer or IT specialist.
